A. Regular Members
1. Physician who is a diplomate of the Philippine Society of Gastroenterology
2. Physician who is a diplomate of his/her specialty or its equivalent with interest in liver diseases .
Life Members – Awarded to Past Presidents of the Hepatology Society of the Philippines, the Philippine Society of Gastroenterology and the Philippine Society of Digestive Endoscopy.
C. Associate Members- Includes allied health professionals or physicians who do not meet the criteria for regular membership, but are involved in hepatology research/practice. These may include gastroenterologists, internists, surgeons, radiologists, pediatricians, pathologists, biochemists, anatomists, microbiologists, physiologists, epidemiologists, pharmacologists or other qualified individuals.
D. International Members - Physicians of foreign nationality, who possess credentials of training in Hepatology, and have expressed the desire to be an active member of the Society.
E. Corporate Members -includes corporations, partnerships, foundations or other organizations that demonstrate interest in the field of hepatology and have shown willingness to support the society’s various professional endeavors and advocacies.
F. Honorary Members – Individuals or /group of individuals who have made substantial contributions to the field of hepatology, but do not meet the criteria of regular membership. Honorary membership should only be considered for individuals or/group of individuals who have publicly been recognized as providing on-going support in the field of hepatology or of the Society.
